Nacho Sanchez boulder Boreal
Nacho Sánchez

Nacho Sánchez

Murcia, Spain
A methodical boulderer, his philosophy is that no boulder is impossible if you try hard enough. While he is still trying to find his limit, he has already excelled with 8c/8c+ boulders through micro grip roofs like “Crisis” and “Insomnio”.  Accurate and thorough in his climbing, Nacho shows that there is always a way to improve.

Best moments

  • Sending “Crisis” (8c/+)
  • Sending “Cthulh” (8c)
  • Winning my first Spanish Championship (2012)

  • Try to define sequences; climb as precisely, quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • Be patient and have fun while trying a project near your limit.
  • Train and work on your weaknesses.
  • Listen to your body, train smart, not too much.
  • Take care of your hands, sanding and moisturizing them.

Nacho Sanchez

Ignacio Sánchez González, better known as Nacho Sanchez, has climbed what he says could be his hardest problem to date, Crisis at Crevillente, which is a village just North East of Murcia.

Nacho has done 8C's before, and plenty of 8B+'s, so he should know what he is talking about. When it comes to crushing small crimpers very few can compete with him.
